[Issue #7] Scott Galloway - Blue Flame Thinker
Writer, Commentator, Professor, Expert in Business, Technology, and the Digital Economy
Happy Tuesday, friends!
This week I wanted to change things up and profile one of the people/voices that I’ve been consistently listening to for a while now.
I’ve found a handful of people who I think of as blue flame thinkers, where they’re working and thinking on a different level than everyone else.
This week I wanted to share Scott Galloway. He’s a serial entrepreneur, professor of business at New York University, member of many corporate boards, podcaster, and best-selling author.
Podcasts
Vox: Pivot — This is where I first met Scott. He hosts a podcast with renowned technology journalist Kara Swisher. They discuss news, trends, and predictions in business, politics, and media. It’s something that I listen to every week.
Vox: The Prof G Pod with Scott Galloway — Scott does office hours early in the week where he takes questions from his audience. Later in the week, he interviews a business expert. I recently loved the episode with Dr. Emily Anhalt.

NY Mag: Harvard Has Too Much Money to Have So Few Students — Scott has a fascinating point of view about Ivy League schools having spent too much time focusing on becoming a luxury brand vs actually educating people. This is such an area of interest that he started a company to democratize access to business school education.
